I used to host this blog in Medium, but I decided to give Netlify a try, given all the good comments I’ve read in the past. I picked Hugo, along with its Coder theme to power the blog. I setup continous deployment in Netlify, where every change in my blog repository triggers a new version of the site.
It turned out to be a great decision, because I get the following benefits:
- Automatic deployment just by pushing changes to my private repo
- I can add new content or edit existing one in the cloud by using tools provided by my git host
- I have full control of the site and its configuration
- It’s free!
If you want to replicate this setup and are having any issues, drop me a line (or two).
